LWD Services

Our Logging While Drilling (LWD) tools provide quality measurements of gamma ray, resistivity and porosity. These insights enable proactive geosteering, keeping the wellbore within productive zones while avoiding geological hazards.

Operational Protocols

Leveraging advanced software inspired by SLB’s DrillingXpert™ and Halliburton’s DesignStar™, we develop meticulous well plans that optimize trajectories. Our 3D modeling effectively addresses geological complexities, ensuring minimal doglegs and maximizing reservoir exposure. Pre-drill simulations integrate seismic data and offset well logs to anticipate formation challenges.

We deploy RSS tools, akin to SLB’s PowerDrive Orbit, to enable continuous rotation and precise control in intricate well paths. These systems function effectively under conditions of up to 200°C and 25,000 psi, producing smooth, high-quality wellbores while minimizing torque and drag.

Our MWD systems, modeled after Halliburton’s GuideStar™, deliver real-time directional surveys that include azimuth and inclination, featuring high-resolution sampling rates of up to 1 Hz. Equipped with electromagnetic telemetry, they ensure reliable data transmission even in challenging formations, facilitating real-time decision-making.

Our LWD tools gather essential formation data, such as gamma ray, resistivity, and porosity, similar to Halliburton’s Quasar Pulse technology. These tools provide wireline-quality measurements in real time, facilitating geosteering to remain in the productive zone while avoiding geological hazards.

Our operations center, utilizing SLB-inspired Neuro autonomous solutions, monitors drilling parameters in real time. Automated adjustments to weight-on-bit, RPM, and steering optimize performance, reducing non-productive time (NPT) by as much as 20% compared to traditional methods.

Following the drilling process, we conduct a thorough data analysis to assess well placement accuracy and reservoir performance, utilizing tools that are compatible with Weatherford’s data integration platforms. This approach guarantees ongoing enhancements for future wells.
